Submissions

Submissions for #SDGFilmfest are encouraged from students studying at De Montfort University Leicester, the London School of Public Relations in Jakarta, the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation in Malaysia, and the American University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Guidelines

Submissions must be posted online via Vimeo/Youtube or similar, and adhere to the following technical specifications.

The portal for new entries has now closed.

Theme:

One of the U.N Sustainable Development Goals, visit link for more information.

Format:

Micro documentary, factual, participatory, expository, poetic, short, animations or PSA etc.

Short fictional pieces will also be accepted as with PR materials defined by the festival’s awards.

Running Time:

2 to 4 min. maximum including titles and credits.

Copyright:

Audio, images, likeness rights and location permissions must be cleared prior to submission.

By submitting your original work to #SDGFilmfest you grant usage and reproduction rights to the organisations involved as “partners”.

Specification and Codec:

1920x1080p HD, 16:9 Safety Frames and Graphics, MP4, H264.

Language:

English subtitles are required for any content/ indigenous language interviews.
