The SDG’S

Identified in 2015, the 17 U.N. Sustainable Development Goals were the product of Resolution 70/1 of the United Nation’s General Assembly.

Anticipated for completion by 2030, the U.N. SDG’s aim to end world hunger, improve healthcare and the provision of education, resolve gender inequality, provide clean water and sanitation, protect the environment, develop affordable energy, create decent work, and to facilitate social justice and peace.

Although many of these objectives may seem ambitious, SDGFilmfest aims to identify hotspots in DAC nations for the reason that to resolve such issues, we must first identify them and create conscious movements to resolve them. Putting it simply, while the SGD’s often seem interdependent, the manners in which specific problems occur are unique to many different territories, as are their potential solutions.
